Please know that your quietly, clearly spoken words are so very needed and gratefully received: I listened to you as I ate breakfast porridge out of a saucepan standing at the water butt, gazing out over the far landscape at my still-new-to-me and wonderful residence where, quietly and clearly, a path is forming through all the darkness of the world at large and my own ragged hours. Nature and love must be fought for and defended with such words. Not the shouting of our soldout, hellbent politicians and their lapdog lackey press. Not the ever-hungry war machine that threatens us all nor the excited clamour of those invested in it. Quietly, clearly, we the people of this earth and its beings, will find our path too. With love and liberation for all.

Ahhh... It's lovely to read your words again. It's a homely feeling.

The birds sing in their innocence but go silent and still when cat the hunter appears.

We, too, act in innocence believing the boa constrictor is hugging us ignoring his name.

The other day I made some Scottish pancakes- drop some batter on the hotties pan and wait till the bubbles rise and burst before turning them over.

You are all the bursting bubbles, bursting into new life, many more will need to follow before the Great Turning.

Lovely to see and hear and read your offerings again Caro.

I too have been having more of a hibernation this year during the darkness of the winter. It’s so good to feel the spring energies starting to stir in the woods and fields. But just as in nature, I’m choosing to allow it to be a stuttering start, a little forwards, a little backwards, a little more quiet and rest. It will be wonderful to see your posts, whenever they appear, whatever their content. The spaces between may be erratic, long, longer or short, it is the natural way. It will make them even more valued.

Hurray for wisely unforced unfurling.

Lovely! Your cockleburs and bitter herbs, whatever form they take, are welcome indeed.

Cockleburrs is a superb word.
