An Invitation to a Heartwork Online Class Saturday 14th September 2024

Greetings from a cliff top, where I have grabbed a signal to send you this invitation.

If you’d like to come and do a Heartwork session with me online on 14th, then you’ll be very welcome. Heartwork is the beautiful, expansive set of movements my T’ai Chi Grandmaster John Kells developed after 40 years T’ai Chi, a lifetime of meditation and movement, and a deep desire to help others connect to Earth, each other and their own hearts.

Last time we looked at the Front Heart Salutation, which helps us expand our awareness out to the horizons, each other and life at large. This time we will recap that and then learn the bones of the Back Heart Salutation, which is an incredibly strong practice for connecting to a sense of our ancestors, all that came before, and all that protects and nourishes us. I can’t say more, you’ll just have to come along and give it a go!

You don’t need anything apart form loose comfortable clothing and some space in a room to at least make the shape I am doing in the photo. There is no ‘belief’ needed for these practices, which are really physically beneficial, and such it is suitable for people of any religion, or none.

The class will be recorded and lasts one hour, then there’s an optional (not recorded) 30 minute hang out afterwards where you can ask me anything Heartwork or Uncivil Savant related.
