'Thanks' for your comment. So sorry you're still into anonymously hassling a woman online.

'Spoiled child, delusions and bullshit', well, that's in the eye of the beholder, so if that's what you believe about me, and it makes you feel better to feel that, then carry on. It might be better for your blood pressure to just stop reading my writing.

No 'rants' about the fire from me, I mention many of my life events in my writing as they are part of me. I have so much sympathy for those who also lost so much in the fire, but I doubt you'll be able to hear that. Freak winds are no one's fault. And accidents happen all the time. Turns out unknown people dumped flammable materials in places they shouldn't have. Other people like to make scapegoats of easy targets, in this case me. Fine, if that makes you feel better. That's not my business.

As for claims of poverty, hardly, considering a large proportion of the world. I just about make ends meet doing work I usually enjoy. Some months I cover my costs, others I don't. Those are just facts. It can be stressful, like it is for many people, perhaps for you, too. I am lucky to have inexpensive needs and a close family.

You can continue to project all your anger, blame and rage onto me, or you could notice that in a long life, so much is totally out of our control, that often people are doing the best they can given the circumstances, and that we won't understand or agree with some people. Anyway, my friends say I am wasting my time talking to you. I am not so sure. I wish you well. I am sorry you are so angry. Shit happens. It happened to us. It is happening to people right now. We can't always do anything about that.

Hello there, I am sorry you are so angry and judgmental of someone you do not seem to know in person. In real life, I engage with lots of people, criticism, debate and discussion, and have no fear of it. It's unpleasant, for sure. But like Clementine Morrigan and Rhyd Wildermuth, who I really admire on these topics, I know it's part of life. Wanting to make this particular Substack online where we engage in a respectful manner doesn't imply any of the things you say. If you personally know any people you suggest I have 'fcked' over the years, with whom you are close, then by all means get in touch. I am easy to find. Daddy issues is such a sweet term, but you'll get no rise from me for that. I think I do remain just as selfish and flawed as any other human, that's why I do indeed need a practice. But then that's not what your comment is about really.

Why do my posts aggravate you so? Why do you care what I do? Why do you think a functioning ego in the world is so bad? What do you really want, here? Who are you, really? Why do you anonymously harass a woman online?

I can take care of all my own business, try to put my past wrongs right and make my art, teaching and writing how I want it to be, to the best of my ability.

So, if you'd really like to talk, human to human, get in touch. And if you'd just like to slag me off, then maybe create your own space. Like so many women, I am tired of being bullied and have no desire to create an easy place for it to happen. But I wish you well, whoever you are. It doesn't have to be like this. Go well.

Also, I give free annual 'paid' subscriptions to anyone who would like to comment. See last 4 posts. So no one has to pay, they only have to give their name, like I do. Skin in the game...

After imbibing your words I realize I am deep-thirsty and head to the kitchen for water where I add to it a fluid concoction of trace minerals, 69 or something, that my blood, after registering your words but not before, realized were depleted. Thank you for the elemental nourishment this morning.

Excellent. I feel better just talking of dancing, (singing about reading?) Thanks for the real voice read-the first voice in my ear this morning is yours and it's lovely.

@Caroline, you see, feel, taste, hear, and touch things that bless so many in your wake. Thank you for this morning's giftful meditation.

Hi Caroline, suddenly, and sadly, I do not have access to the audio anymore! The little icon is there but doesn’t show any recording. Do you have any idea what’s up? Do I need to change my subscription? Any ideas?

Hi there, I just checked the post and the audio plays on my laptop. I have also rechecked the settings and it is still published for everyone, so I am not sure what the issue could be. Perhaps a software update for your device? Sorry not to be able to help more.

Thank you for replying. I usually use the iphone for substack, don't know what's happening there. Anyway, I'm using the computer now and the recording is here. Now to listen to it!

Sounds like it was a compatibility glitch. Glad it's working now.

Hi there thanks for this. I just reloaded the audio but it wouldn't play on my phone either, even though it played fine on the laptop before and after the reload. In fact none of my article audios are playing on my phone. Then I tried reloading the audio using 'voiceover' rather than 'embed audio' which I had preferred until now (as you can place the audio lower down in the page with that option). Now the audio plays fine on my phone. Tomorrow I will go through all 35 audios and reload in this manner, so they are accessible by phone for people on the move, Thanks so much for drawing my attention to this Shannon and Diane. I will also query Substack too, directly.
