an ochre interlude
As the farmer said (with passionate admiration) as we passed a ploughed field- "Beautiful dirt!"
This is both the winning T shirt slogan for the week (an ongoing mental game of mine) and also the best new greeting for my friends and loved ones. Thanks Rosie!
The bees!!!
They were the busiest and calmest I have ever seen them yet.
I’m in Kent so most of my walks are on chalk. But I’ve come to love watching water flow up and over chalk from local springs.
Chalk springs are the stuff of life.
